We have had the best response of sustaining members renewing
their membership in the Junior League than ever before. Thank you to all of you
for your continued support. We are in the home stretch of this League year but
have a few major things still ahead.
The League has been selected as a charitable partner of the
Designer Showhouse. Our volunteer support of the Showhouse translates into
financial donations back to the League. For every 3 hour shift our volunteers
(or their friends, family, neighbors, co-workers) work, we will receive a
donation of $10.00 from the Designer Showhouse. We are in charge of staffing
the Showhouse from Saturday, May 3rd though Sunday, May 10th.
Shifts are between the hours of 10:00 am and 9:30 pm.
We know this can be the time of year that we wind down our
League hours and prepare for summer with our families but we need you! Ask your
friends to join you in volunteering. By volunteering you receive free entrance
to the Showhouse. You can work your shift, support the League and enjoy viewing

We will be hosting our JLO Annual Meeting at the Showhouse
on Monday evening, May 5th. The Showhouse will be closed to the
public at that time so we can celebrate this amazing year, our award recipients
and our members. Look for your invitation to this exciting event.
The Jumble Shop has found a new location, through the help
of some amazing League actives and sustainers, in the Miracle Hills Plaza at
114th and Dodge. Construction on the new space is happening now with
an anticipated grand opening date of the first week of May. The April JLO This
Month will be rolling out the transition from our current location to this new
home - and a new name. We hope you can join us at the Grand Opening!
We cannot thank everyone enough for your patience with this
decision to keep and move the Jumble Shop. Your input was invaluable. Thank you
for the offering of location ideas, participation in the Ad Hoc committee, your
professional services, as well as, your phone calls and emails of support.
We are blessed to have such a fantastic network of members.
