To purchase two new HP Pavilion desktop computers for their pre-school program. 

  

Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) - $1,000 awarded  

To purchase age-appropriate picture books to provide to low-income mothers to read to their young children. 

  

Good Neighbor Foundation, Inc. - $1,000 awarded 

To purchase new 4.5 horsepower 21" lawn mowers for the Omaha Women's Oxford Houses. 

  

Brook Valley School - $1,000 awarded 

To purchase a heavy duty swing configuration that holds two swing seats for special needs students. 

  

Very Special Arts Nebraska - $1,000 awarded 

To pay for fees for professional artists to hold six workshops for special needs individuals. 

  

La Casa del Pueblo - $1,000 awarded 

Transportation costs to bring Hispanic/Latino women to English classes and for soccer equipment for 30 children starting a league. 

  

The ARTery - $1,000 awarded 

Five scholarships for low-income students to attend 2007 ARTery summer camp. 

  

Ollie Webb Center, Inc. - $1,000 awarded 

For the "Sibshop" program - four workshops for siblings of special needs children. 

  

NOVA Alternative School - $1,000 awarded 

To purchase the initial supply of tennis shoes and hooded sweat shirts for at-risk teens in a work-out program.
