The
Junior League of Omaha has enjoyed a long and lasting legacy in the Omaha
community. Our volunteers, projects and financial gifts have touched
nearly every non-profit organization in the city. Our
members are a part of hundreds of organizations in and around the Omaha area.
Did
you know? The Junior League of Omaha:
- Brought the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event to Omaha;
- Started what is now known as The Rose Children's Theater;
- Provides scholarships for college bound seniors who have
volunteered hundreds of service hours
Who are
we? We are a wide range of women who span several demographics. Junior
League of Omaha members represent nearly every generation and several walks of
life. Our membership includes corporate executives, non-profit managers,
stay-at-home moms, students, business owners, health professionals,
professional volunteers, working media, politicians and educators.
Our
members have been recognized for their professional and volunteer achievements
more than any other women's organization in Omaha.
Won't you
join us? There's still time to be part of our 2009-2010 new members class. For
