Within our structure, The Junior League of Omaha
has a Placement Committee which functions as our Human Resource Department. They are the main point of contact for any
JLO personnel related questions or comments.
The Placement Committee helps to facilitate a successful Junior League
placement experience for the membership by producing and publishing the Placement Brochure,
advising Provisionals (New Members) about the placement process, and developing
and conducting the annual Placement Fair.
The committee also advises and reminds membership about their engagements
(requirements) and placement point policies through communication with
committee Vice-Chairmen and also JLO
This Month articles.
They welcome,
inform and place all transfers for the Junior League of Omaha and assist in
determining placement policies and monitoring by-laws as they pertain to
membership engagements. The committee
is also responsible for maintaining and tracking membership's placement points
throughout the year and with assisting the League in updating membership files.
